New Features This Week

A Real Role Hierarchy

Not everyone on a job should see the same thing. ZenHammer now understands Owners, Superintendents, and Project Managers as distinct roles, each with its own permissions and its own view of the work. Superintendents see the sites they're responsible for; project managers see the projects they run.

Task Delegation

You can now hand a task to another organization entirely. They pick it up in their own ZenHammer account, work it, and report back — while it stays visible on your project the whole time. It's the first step toward running subcontractors through the app rather than around it.

Projects on a Map

Every project with an address now shows up on a map. If you're deciding who drives where tomorrow, it's a far better starting point than a list.

Coming Soon

Subtasks

Large tasks will soon break into subtasks you can assign separately — so a week of work stops being a single checkbox.

Automatic App Updates

We're adding version checks to the mobile app so your crews always run the current build without anyone having to chase it.
